The agreement between you and GLPCoach — in plain English.
Effective Date: April 30, 2026Welcome to GLPCoach. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Mehmet Iyibas ("we," "our," or "us"), the developer and operator of the GLPCoach mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By downloading, installing, or using GLPCoach, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Short version: Use the app responsibly, follow your doctor's advice — not ours, be honest about your age, and don't try to break or abuse the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use GLPCoach. The Service is intended for adults who have been prescribed, or are considering, GLP-1 medications under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
By using GLPCoach you represent and warrant that:
GLPCoach is a wellness and self-tracking companion application. It is not a medical device, has not been reviewed or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or any other regulatory authority, and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Content generated by the AI coach (powered by Anthropic's Claude model) and any other information presented in the app are provided for informational and motivational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
⚠️ Always consult your prescribing clinician regarding your GLP-1 medication, dosage changes, side effects, drug interactions, nutrition decisions, exercise plans, and any health concerns. Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you read or saw in GLPCoach.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately. Do not use GLPCoach to seek emergency medical assistance.

We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features at any time without notice.
Most of GLPCoach works without an account — your data is stored locally on your device. If you create an optional Premium account, you are responsible for:
We may suspend or terminate any account that we reasonably believe is being used in violation of these Terms.
GLPCoach offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock Premium features. All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store using your Apple ID.
Refunds: Because billing is handled by Apple, all refund requests must be submitted to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly.
Prices and feature sets may change. We will give reasonable notice of material price changes.
Conversations with the AI coach are routed through our backend (Cloudflare Workers) and processed by Anthropic, Inc.'s Claude model. AI responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Do not act on AI output without independent verification, and never treat it as a clinical recommendation.
When using the Service, you agree NOT to:
We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or terminate access to the AI coach (including rate limits) to protect the Service and other users.
You retain all rights to the content you create or submit in GLPCoach (meal logs, weight entries, journal notes, photos, chat messages — collectively, "User Content").
By submitting User Content to the AI coach or food scanner, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (e.g., transmit it to Anthropic to generate a response, return nutritional analysis to your device).
You are solely responsible for your User Content and for ensuring it does not violate any law or third-party right.
The Service — including the GLPCoach name, logo, app design, source code, content, prompts, and underlying technology — is owned by Mehmet Iyibas and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use only.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
GLPCoach uses third-party services to operate, including Apple (App Store, In-App Purchases, iCloud), Anthropic (Claude AI), Cloudflare (request routing), and Supabase (Premium authentication). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies, which we recommend you review.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, or policies of third-party services.
If you obtained GLPCoach from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply:
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation.
We do not warrant that:
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Mehmet Iyibas be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us through the App Store for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mehmet Iyibas from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your use or misuse of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your User Content; or (d) your violation of any law or third-party right.
You may stop using GLPCoach at any time by deleting the app from your device. If you have a Premium account, you may also request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or to protect the security or integrity of the Service.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will continue in effect after termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" above and, where appropriate, notify you through the app. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under your local law, any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought in the competent courts of Istanbul, Türkiye.
Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence.
