Effective Date: April 18, 2026GLPCoach ("we," "our," or "us") is an AI-powered wellness companion app for people using GLP-1 medications such as Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro, and Zepbound. GLPCoach is developed and operated by Mehmet Iyibas.
Short version: Your health data stays on your phone. We collect anonymous usage statistics — which screens get opened, whether onboarding was finished — so we can fix what is broken. Those statistics never include your weight, doses, meals, photos or messages, and you can switch them off in Settings. We do not sell your data.
You provide: name, age, weight, gender, medication, dosage week, injection schedule, meal logs, workouts, weight entries.
Automatic: Apple-provided crash logs (you opt in via iOS Settings → Privacy → Analytics & Improvements → Share With App Developers), plus our own anonymous usage statistics described below. We do not run third-party analytics, advertising or telemetry SDKs.
Anonymous usage statistics: the app records a short list of interaction events — the app being opened, an onboarding step being reached, a screen being viewed, a log entry being created, the paywall being opened or dismissed, a purchase being started, and whether a free AI limit was hit. Each event carries the app version, your language and App Store region, whether the subscription was active, and a random identifier generated on your device.
That random identifier is not derived from your Apple ID, your email, your device, or any advertising identifier. It exists only so that ten screen views from one phone are not counted as ten people. Deleting the app, or using Reset all data, discards it permanently and a new one is generated if you start again.
These statistics never include your weight, doses, medication name, meals, macros, measurements, side effects, workouts, photos, or anything you typed to the AI coach. The app enforces this with a fixed allowlist of event fields rather than by convention, so values of that kind cannot be sent even by mistake.
You can turn them off: Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous usage statistics. Switching it off stops collection immediately and discards anything still waiting to be sent.
We do NOT collect: precise GPS, contacts, government IDs, financial data, microphone, or HealthKit data.
Personalized coaching, food analysis, reminders, and charts. Optional cloud sync (Apple iCloud and/or Supabase) is off by default and stores only the logs you create. Anonymous usage statistics are used for one purpose: deciding what to fix and build next — for example, finding the onboarding step where people give up. They are not used for advertising, profiling, or any decision about an individual user. We never sell or share data with advertisers.
AI chat and food-photo analysis requests are routed through Cloudflare Workers to Anthropic Claude. We do not store request bodies or chat transcripts on our servers; only short-lived request logs (timestamp, IP, status, latency) are kept for abuse prevention. Your message history lives on your device unless you turn on cloud sync. Anthropic may retain inputs for safety monitoring per anthropic.com/privacy.
On-device storage (localStorage + iOS sandbox). Optional iCloud sync uses Apple's end-to-end encryption. Premium auth (Supabase, SOC 2). All traffic TLS 1.2+. No secrets in the app binary. Access tokens rotated. Rate-limited backend.
Anthropic (AI), Cloudflare (routing and the database holding the anonymous usage statistics), Supabase (auth), Apple (iCloud/IAP). No advertisers or data brokers.
Billing handled entirely by Apple. Cancel anytime in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → GLPCoach.
Local notifications only — scheduled on your device. No remote push. Disable anytime in iPhone Settings → Notifications → GLPCoach.
GLPCoach is intended for adults 18+. GLP-1 medications are prescription-only. If a minor has provided data, email iyibasmehmet@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, consent withdrawal. CCPA (California): we do not sell personal info. GDPR (EU/UK): contract performance + legitimate interest basis. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
In-app: Settings → "Delete my account" or "Export my data".
All local data: delete the app from your iPhone.

We update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will update the Effective Date and be surfaced in the app where appropriate.
